I can agree with this! When you’re dating just to date, it’s ok to just have love, but when you’re looking for a spouse it needs to be someone you can build with. Love is a key component, but it’s not the soul reason you marry. A lot of people refer to love in the superficial realm and not the Christian realm that's patient, kind, slow to anger, forgiving, etc. If love was the soul factor that determines marriage, then I would have been married at least 2 or 3 times by now because of how strongly I love. Love doesn’t pay the bills and isn’t the only component of a good foundation being built. Everything should be done with love and love must be present, but you shouldn't marry just for love. If I don’t see a future where we can build successfully in various realms from our marriage to our finances to our family to our community then I’m good on being single. What do you bring to the table? It’s about kingdom building... if you don’t get that then keep it pushing.
