
Fall is what I consider walking, running and 5k season. It's no secret that my max amount of weight loss occurs on an outside track doing jobs or circuit runs. So I've decided to bring back what I consider my mental lab, the track, into my workout. I prefer outdoor trails and tracks because I'm quite an avid people watcher and I love to be embrace the beautiful works of God in nature. Let the increase of mileage and decrease of body weight begin.
Some great apps to use for those trying to get more steps in for the day are the following:
Fitbit,
Nike+ Run Club App, or
Couch to 5K App
I kid you not, through consistency and will power the Couch to 5K App is how I was able to finish my first 5K in 31 minutes in 2011. To date that's my record time because I truly lack the discipline since that time.

This year I don't have any 5K races planned so far, but I do have the Great Inflatable Race scheduled for Nov 4. It's a noncompetitive race that will bring out the inner kid in me and my group of runners. I can't wait.
So what are you waiting for? Get up. Drink some water. Exfoliate. And Run!!
