As a child, I remember always being told that there were 2 paths in life... the straight and narrow or the wide, winding and crooked path that may not lead you to where you want and or need to be. A lot of times that latter path seems to be shorter when looked at from above, but you don't recognize all the unnecessary obstacles that you may have to endure. So with that in mind, I've always tried to take the straight and narrow path in an effort to avoid these issues. I've had my moments where I've made detours, but I thank God for checking myself or allowing Him to check me and get back on task. So no matter which path you may choose, sometimes we all allow something to cut off our train of thinking. We allow something to almost post as a beautiful distraction which is actually not what all it seems to be. We experience what I call road rage where we are mad at the "person who cuts us off" or who slams on the breaks or blocks our path on our road to our destination, but in this case, we truly shouldn't be mad at anyone or anything but ourselves. Now in real life, I at one point was the queen of true road rage on the streets when I face those unpredictable moments on the highways, but in theory, I have sometimes found myself being the queen of road rage in my own life when faced with situations that I may have created for myself. You will find yourself raging over the road you chose to travel or the obstacle that you let into your life. I know I can't possibly be the only person who can testify about that experience. Hell it's a constant learning opportunity. It's time to let the things you know that don't mean you well GO! Save that negative energy that you're giving to that negative situation. Glow and grow in the direction that God has destined for you. Out with the road rage, and in with the self love and God's love that will allow you to make the best decisions for you.
Peace and blessings! 😘😘
