I found out about Kendra Scott jewelry a while back. I had heard people mention it. My sister owned a few pieces, but I hadn't explored the collection myself yet. I'm really into wearing layered jewelry, in particular bracelets. What I love about Kendra Scott's in-store necklace displays is that most are layered so beautifully. I got my first piece (an Elisa Silver Pendant Necklace in Platinum Drusy) as a Christmas gift as a friend and my second piece (matching bracelet) when I went gift shopping back in April. I received my 3rd piece as a birthday gift (Zane Long Pendant Necklace in Gold w/an ivory pearl stone) .
Lo and behold, Kendra Scott offers 50% off one piece (25% fine jewelry) during the month of your birthday. So the day after my birthday I sashayed on in to claim what I figured was mine. I purchased 2 necklaces (Harper Adjustable Choker Necklace in Gold and Phara Necklace in Gold) and a pair of earrings (Tessa Rose Gold Stud Earrings in Irridescent Drusy). The method behind the madness in this purchase is that I liked the Phara Necklace just on display. The sales associate who was the most friendly addressed me and had on that necklaced, layered with the Harper Adjustable Chocker Necklace and another necklace. She taught me the various ways to tie the Phara Necklace and I must admit that I was sold from the moment I first saw it. While I'm extremely hesitant about what type of earrings I wear regularly due to sensitive ears, I was easily swayed to purchase the ones I did because all of her regular jewelry are brass that is plated in 14K gold. Being that I'm going to a party in a week that has a color theme of cream and gold, these purchases will be an amazing addition with my dress of choice. The picture do not serve these pieces justice.

If you aren't a Kendra Scott fan yet (because I assure any woman with reasonable taste and style would love something in her store) then I encourage you to don't just go on her website, but go see her jewelry in person. They also serve as great gifts for any occasion. And don't forget to claim your birthday piece during your birth month! You'll thank me later but have some self control... it's dangerously easy to want to buy the whole store.
