Salute to the Queen

This year marks the 3rd anniversary of my mother's homegoing and the 3rd year that as a family, we participated in the New Orleans Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. This year was our largest turn out as a team, and I couldn't be more pleased. My first year was in 2011 in Alabama with just a friend and her then boyfriend. The year 2013 brought 18 people and 2014 brought 19 people. This year brought a whopping 27 people with our farthest travelers being from Dallas area.
