So once upon a time I had faux locs... they were done beautifully and I really have no complaint about the talent and time put into transforming my look and taming the mane. Major love and respect given to Embre who goes by the name @embracebraids on Instagram. My one issue is that I HATED taking them out. I know that even braids take forever for me to take out due to length of my hair and so forth, but I would have thought this would have been quicker to remove since they are bigger. WRONG! The process does not look as easy as it is does on YouTube. As the locs get older, they actually start to mat and lock. Although the worn look looks nice, it's hell to take out. It took about 10 hours to install and another 4-5 hours to remove. I loved them, but I just don't think that process is something I want to do anytime soon. So maybe I'll bring the braids back... Hmmm...
