B-Day thru Fourth of July

It's cancer season! S/o to all my fellow cancerians, the best zodiac sign on the planet! I am blessed to see my 29th year of life and graced to be on my journey towards dirty 30. As that journey begins I must admit that there are a few things I'm determined to get done in my 20s. The first is learn how to swim and the second is get another stamp or two in my passport. I plan to make a list of things I want to accomplish and make them happen. Here are some highlights from the month of June thru the Fourth of July!

Family gathering in Shreveport...

Bday... Lunch at Lager's.

Bday... Dinner at Antoine's in downtown New Orleans. Dinner was fab. Classy dinner which always puts a smile on my face. I had the crab meat au gratin as an appetizer. For my entree I had fish with crab meat and a salad. The food was great. It was my first time going and I can't wait to go again!
Drinks at the cure!
Bday accesories and outfit!
Cake, cake, cake, cake, cake!
My fellow cancerian... Happy bday J!
Dinner at Ralph's on the Park! This is my second time at this restaurant. The food was delectable. The shrimp and grits are in a mean second place to my favorite at Cafe Amelie. I had the roasted duck as an entree and the banana's foster bread pudding for dessert. The dessert was too die for. Not as sweet as I expected so it was perfect!
Rebirth at Maple Leaf!
Family cookout for the Fourth of July!
