Food Venture: Munch Factory

One word to describe this restaurant... AMAZEBALLS! I've been to The Munch Factory on Elysian Fields twice in 2 weeks. My friend is friends with the owners so we went on a Friday night just before closing. I indulged in a Mango Bellini, crab cakes, buffalo shrimp, crawfish and corn border, tuna tacos, and blackened redfish with fried grits. It was all so very delicious. There wasn't a single thing that I didn't like. I decided to return Friday to try some other appetizing options. This time I had crab cakes again, a Munch Punch, loaded potato skins, herb chicken with green beans and potato croquettes, bread pudding with rum sauce and beignets. The food was amazing. The only thing I can say is that I like my bread pudding to be a little more solid and the potato croquettes were a little salty, but other than that everything was great. I do prefer the Munch Punch instead of the Mongo Bellini. Will I be returning? Heck yeah! There are more items on the menu that I'd like to try and you should give them a try too. :)
