Thursday was my birthday. This was my first time spending a birthday at home with family in 3 years. I'm so thankful to God to celebrate a new year. I didn't get to do much but the few things I did get to do were great. I had lunch at a Chinese restaurant with my beau and his mom. My sister bought me an outfit, a Rose Gold DKNY watch, and some really delicious cupcakes. My beau is responsible for my cookie cake along with another gift and we spent the night dining at Emeril's on Tchoupitoulas Street. This was my first time going to Emeril's which was pretty exciting. The experience was excellent. Service was great. I enjoyed all food items but just wished that my entree didn't have such a strong maple taste. I hope to be able to return to try other menu items.
