This woman reminds me of why being a woman of color is so beautiful. I remember her being featured in Eric Benet's "Chocolate Legs" video. I couldn't help but think that she was a gorgeous chocolate woman with incredibly beautiful skin. In the society that we live in, we aren't always encouraged that people with darker skin are beautiful. I just don't know any sane man or woman for that matter that can look at that particular video with the interaction of Eric Benet and this woman and not think that she's beautiful. Magazines and media have the tendency of attempting to brighten up even the most light skinned person there is, like Alicia Keys, Beyonce, and Halle Berry. So it's no surprise that some shots of her are extremely lighter than others. Why not embrace the beauty in of woman of color? After all, Caucasians and lighter ethnicities are always tanning themselves to death to be women of color too. I don't know much about her, but I do know she's Haitian and her name is Natasha Ellie.
