Last week I surprised the beau with a trip to Venice beach to go bike riding. The weather was gorgeous. It was about 70 degrees with winds coming from the ocean. I haven't rode a bike in years... and I do mean years. I'm talking at lease 15 years. So let's just say, the beginning of our excursion was quite a sight. We rode for about 4 hours. We rode to Santa Monica Pier, had veggie burgers, fries and sundaes there. We were sure not to break our fast. After turning in our bikes we just walked along the strip taking in the sun and all the strange sights and street acts around us, including a man pushing a stroller while on a skate board, a mad playing the guitar on skates, wannabe B-boyz, etc. Venice beach seems like the hangout spot for hippies, dreamers and gypsies. Lol. The views were beautiful and I can't wait to go back.
