Shea Moisture Pop-Up Shop

On Thursday I had the pleasure of going to a Shea Moisture Pop-up Shop. The great thing about Essence Festival is that it brings these types of events to our city all at once. I must say... I had no idea that Shea Moisture had so many product lines. Everything was beautifully stocked and organized on shelves and though the venue was uncomfortably hot... it's like the vibe had been blessed with coconut oil. Everyone was friendly mingling with each other. There were a few demos going on in the room, but with the way my focus was set up in the really hot salon that we were in, I could truly care less. I was able to stock up on my usual Coconut and Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie and also on my newer loved products that are the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave-In Condtioner, and Finishing Oil Serum w/Coconut Milk and Acacia Senegal.

I also purchased a few new products that caught my attention. The Peace Rose Oil Complex Sensitive Skin Mud Mask and Facial Moisturizer w/Daily Palm and Camelia Extracts Soften & Calm caught my eye since I have sensitive skin and Rose Oil lib balm has always done wonders for my lips so I figure this may be a winner for my skin. Not that I have skin issues. I rarely if every get pimples but I do get dry patches that I've self diagnosed as eczema but who knows what it really is.

I also purchased 100% Pure Shea Oil and 100% Pure Monoi Oil for Head-to-Toe Moisturization. While I'll never stop using my beloved coconut oil, vitamin E oil and almond oil on my hair, I figured these two are worth a try since they're already in some of the hair products that I use.

I also received a few samples for making a purchase over $40. Yay for freebies!

Overall, this Pop-up shop visit was well worth it. My workout buddy went with me and we had great food and good conversation later at Mr. Ed's Restaurant. The Rockefeller oysters were pretty good. Our waiter was amazing and super friendly and thanked us for laughing and staying through his whole shift. Lol.
