To Canada We Go! Part 1

Just this past month I went on a trip to Calgary, Alberta for a friend and old classmate's birthday. The bride and I went to optometry school together and during my last summer in Chicago we hung out quite a bit. During my stay, I lived with one of my old roommates and first Canadian friend, Nicole. Lol. My trip was amazing and I can't wait to return.

I arrived around 2pm on a Friday. I was very pleased that Calgary's time was just one hour behind New Orleans'.
Nicole and another colleague, Jessica, met me at the airport and we set out for food. We stopped at a cute pub called Ship and Anchor.

We then stopped at a bank so I could get some loonies.

We later went to eat at Craft which was a large restaurant with very good food. I ordered some bags fish tacos.

The next say (Saturday) we work and took a ride to Banff. First stop wasTthe Bagel Co. Along the way the scenery was beautiful. We also passed their old Winter Olympics site.

We then took a ride to Banff National Park, Lake Louise and the Rocky Mountains.
