It's the Little Things...

Sometimes it's the little things in life that puts the biggest smile on my face. Mardi Gras Day 2014 was a cold (37 degrees) and rainy day. I'm not really into parades anyways so I decided I'd use this day off to catch up on rest. By 3pm I was over the foolishness and took my talents to my car to go walk around aimlessly in Taget or TargeĆ© as I often refer to it. If you can remember from a previous post, I really have been looking for a glass water bottle. For years I never understood why my mother was the one person in our house that was too good for a Solo cup, but not it all makes sense. The taste of most beverages is so much better from a glass glass. She always argued that but I always thought it was bogus. I finally bout the water bottle I've been looking for!!! That may not mean a thing to most people but the fact that I found it is pure victory for me. I've found others but never liked the colors or the kids or the price or whatever. This bottle is by the company Zulu, it's 20 oz, has a push to open lid, and a locking mechanism to prevent spills. What a perfect bottle to bring to work and start to increase my daily water intake with. I'm so excited it's ridiculous.

I'm just a simple woman who is easily amused by the little things I guess... <shrugs>

Special s/o to an old coworker named Ilene for making me this fab Mardi Gras infinity scarf.
Certainly I didn't JUST buy a glass water bottle. There were other necessities needed, i.e. Wine.

P.S.A. Never allow your cashier to place each wine bottle in a separate plastic bag. The outcome: Alcohol abuse. Perfectly good bottle of Pinot noir gone down the drain, literally. Smh.

The best thing since sliced bread:
