New Subscription: Curl Box

For those who have been reading my blogs for more than a year then you probably remember when I used to blog about my subscription to Birch Box. Birchbox was a monthly box subscription that was filled with beauty product samples. I ended up ending my subscription because the products were piling and the actual products that I liked were very expensive for the full bottle.

Well here I am again with Curl Box. Curl Box is like a curly girl's dream. It's a box filled with full product bottles for $20/month uniquely catering just to my fellow naturalistas. I've put myself on the list years ago and never got a response. After following them on Instagram, I started noticing that the products they were selecting ere either ones I already use or ones I spend moments in the store looking at and wondering if I should invest. I didn't realize that signing up for this box and actually getting your order processed was the equivalent of getting Willy Wonka's golden ticket. I mean for the first time without true planning I was on this site like 10 minutes early. The list was to open at 3 pm EST. At 2 pm CST I refreshed my page and was on to greatness only to get to the moment of checking out my cart and this happens...
What the eff?!? I refreshed several times and even vented on the companies Instagram page. Other users encouraged me and well as a multitude of other frustrated shoppers to keep refreshing. I attempted several times and got through to making my account then the same "Service Unavailable" page apeared. After refreshing between nearly each step due to this screen I was able to successfully purchase my subscription after tne minutes of my initial try. Talk about a freaking workout.

Needless to say, I'm happy that I got through and I'm almost certain that I'm bound to find something in a box that I actually like. The possibilities are quite endless and I can't wait to get my first box. :)
