Bantu Knot Out

After humidity turned me into Chaka Khan's broke sister, I wasn't ready to wash out my blow out. Everyone really loved my blown out wand curls when they were fresh and more so after I sat outside for 2-3 hours having lunch and my hair was huge. This was my second attempt at a Bantu knot out but this time on blown out hair. I seriously did it, sat under the dryer for about 30 minutes and took it down because I had places to go and people to see. I love the results.

P.S. I think we all seek perfection in hair styles but the beauty about being natural is that the messier sometimes the better. My knots weren't perfect. In fact, one in the front and one in the back resulted in the oddest curls, but overall it looked good.

Next day hair:
I didn't even try to save it. I needed to go to chuch and I'm still not ready to wash my hair so I wore what I like to call a mega bun! My bun is already huge when my hair is curly but blown out it was mega! Lol. Love it!

I think I thoroughly enjoy being natural more than being relaxed. Not that I didn't have healthy hair or long hair when relaxed. I'm just less likely to cut it off every year and I enjoy exploring new styles and techniques myself. I'm totally winning right now... :)
