I can't believe it's already been a little over 9 months since my mother departed this side of life. Two years ago I ran in her honor for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Birmingham, AL. Last year I wanted to do the same but couldn't since she was in ICU. This year in New Orleans the race will be held on October 26, 2013, on the eve of the one year anniversary of her home-going. I'm just asking that all go my readers and followers help me make this day meaningful and a success by donating and/or joining me as I race for the cure!
