Food Venture: Juicy Lucy's

I've been dying to try what may be one of the hottest burger joints in the New Orleans area, Juicy Lucy's. They are known for its stuffed homemade hamburgers. I bought a $10 Groupon to enjoy $20 worth of good eats. I was able to go this week to the Mid-city location on S Carrolton with my sister. We indulged in fried boudin served on skewers and a bed of sautéed veggies and lettuce as an appetizer. It didn't fail to please my taste buds. My sister and I then ordered the Juicy All American which was a burger stuffed with barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese and bacon. I also opted to have a side of onion rings. It was great... a little dry to my liking but still good nonetheless. Overall the dine in experience was great. We were seated promptly and our waiter was very "on it" as I like to call it. The only con about this place is that you can't select your own items to stuff the burger with. The lack of custom ordering is a bit inconvenient and forces you to order something that you may not truly want as bad.

Consensus: We came. We conquered. We will be back.

Go check out Juicy Lucy's if you haven't already!
