Last weekend I went to a friend's wedding in Houston. This friend just so happens to be my first roommate from optometry school and one of the two closest friends from those 4 years of my life. Her and her hubby are one of my favorite couples. After she moved out of the dorm to live with her hubby, they'd always cook and invite me over. and her husband can throw down in the kitchen. Lol. My sister and I drive in on Friday, went shopping at the Galleria then checked into our room at Hotel Derek. The wedding was for 12:30p Saturday while the reception was at our hotel for 6p.During the time in between, we decided to go finish shopping at the Galleria Mall.
I loved that her colors were purple and grey. I happened to match her wedding with my choice of clothing. We had a great time. The food and DJ were great. I enjoyed Mahi Mahi and asparagus on a bed on risotto. I was also happy to run into another close friend as well. My favorite part about this weekend getaway besides seeing friends and shopping was the flip book booth. I've always seen photo booths at weddings but never a flip book booth. I'll try to upload that separately.
