"We on a boat!"

Last week my beau surprised me with a boat date in Long Beach. He even packed us a lunch. The boat ride lasted for about an hour and a half. We had this nice enclosed private electric boat complete with a radio for me to hook my iPod up to an a table and seating for dining. I was very happy that it was a larger boat and enclosed since I'm terrified of open water like the ocean since I can't swim. This venture reminded me of our Sunset Cruise on Lake Michigan that I planned for us 2 summers ago. The weather last week was absolutely gorgeous and being out on the water made the perfect date. We got a little lost on our way back to our docking area, but it wouldn't have been right if we hadn't. Our 1 hour search for our car on New Year's probably takes the cake. Lol. I'm usually pretty good with directions, but I think I, like most girls, have the tendency to not pay much attention to directions and other things when I'm not driving. Lesson learned.
