It's carnival time in NOLA and we know what that means... It's king cake time! Although Manny Randazzo sells by far the best king cakes in the area, I've become a fan of Sucré. I tried one slice a few weeks ago and convinced my sister to buy a whole cake yesterday. It looks like a painted masterpiece. On top of that I indulged in a scoop of both their toasted almond and banana cream pie gelato. It was so yummy! So if you haven't already, stop by Sucré and try their sweets. You won't regret it.
