Mexican anyone?

I may possibly be turning into a Mexican. More specifically I love Latin and Peruvian food. Anyway, last week I went with the coworkers to this restaurant in MidTown called Iguana Grill. I don't know why I've never really explored this area myself especially since there is this cupcake place called Gigi's that supposedly have the best cupcakes.

As we entered Iguana Grill my eyes were immediately greeted with lots of colors and lighting. The place looks like some enchanted place you've only seen in story books or in Disney movies. The ceiling has various types of landers hanging and in the enter of the restaurant is a fake tree with lots of lights hanging from it.

I ordered the shrimp enchiladas lunch special. It was pretty good but possibly could have been seasoned better. Two of my coworkers ordered chicken quesadillas. It looked pretty good and they both said it was. Overall service was great. We were served right away and able to make it back to work on time.

I'm not sure if Louisiana has an Iguana Grill but I'd like to return to enjoy such a beautifully decorated restaurant again.
