Del Seoul???

Omg! How have I been living in Chicago but didn't know about this gem. Del Seoul is a Korean taco place. They are located on N Clark in Lincoln park on the same clock as Molly's Cupcakes. It's also next to this empanadas place in which I'm determined to try in the next 2 weeks before I move back south. The line appears to always be long at Del Seoul and parking is limited. I tried this place about a month ago and fell in love. I tried to go back with my beau but couldn't find parking.

I tried the Kalbi (beef short rib) taco and the sesame-chili shrimp taco. On yelp everyone rants and raves about the shrimp taco, but I must admit that I wasn't thoroughly impressed. The flavor just wasn't something I would imagine for a taco. I liked the beef one better.

My favorite dish by far was the kimchi fries. I never imagined Kimchi fries but when you add onions, sour cream, cheese and pork belly, you will instantly fall in love. :)
A bunch of yumminess!
I also ordered a spicy BBQ pork Vietnamese style sandwich to eat the next day. It was pretty good but I've definitely had better.

How can one go on the same block as Molly's and not stop by? I have no clue because I headed right over after I left Del Seoul. Lol. I just couldn't resist the red velvet and the carrot cupcakes. :)
