Thai Food Venture

I love Thai food like many other forms of food. I went on a dinner venture on Michigan Ave to Ma&i The restaurant is a cute little place with a view of the street. Parking is a little difficult since it's within a block of Roosevelt Rd. 

We were seated immediately ordered our Thai iced teas but unfortunately weren't addressed promptly when ready to order. The Thai iced tea had a better flavor than the ones I've had from other restaurants. Needless to say, the service was still ok. 

I can't go to any Asian restaurant without ordering crab rangoons. Lol. I usually can't go wrong with these, so I was pleased with my order.

I also ordered the seafood tom yum soup in which I'm in love with at Opart Thai Restaurant. This wasn't the best but still good for effort. It wasn't as spicy as I like it and there weren't any crab sticks. 

For my entree, I ordered the shrimp, asparagus and mushrooms in garlic sauce. This dish was a little bland for my liking but decent. 

Overall, the restaurant was "good". I don't know that I will return to Ma&i since I love Opart Thai on State Street, but it's a cute place if having a lunch date with friends or a cozy dinner with your mate.
